A SUBJECT YOU'VE ENJOYED STUDYING THIS SEMESTER
This
semester has been very different in terms of subject matter because it is my
first semester in the electives. This has been great, because you can choose
the courses that interest you the most. In this same sense, I think in the two
courses that have stolen my attention. First, the course of Psychogerontology
(Psychology of Old Age and Aging) taught by PhD Daniela Thumala. In this course
they teach us all about the last stage of life, taking it not as a sunset, but
as a time to enjoy, and also from a rights perspective, where the elderly are
worthy of care and respect as any other person, and even more. The second
course that I love is Strategies for intervention with and for the community.
In this course taught by PhD Germán Rozas is a fruitful chair that teaches me
not only theory, but also how to act before people. To the guys who have men’s
time in the career, I recommend them a lot!
Psychology of Old Age and Aging sounds interesting and I think knowledge about this should be expanded.
